Houma House Elevation passes your quote request to independent contractors. This page says what we collect, who gets it and how to have it deleted. Updated October 30, 2026.
In plain words
We use what you send to get you quotes. We don't sell it.
What the quote form collects
Whatever you type into the form: what the house needs, parish, town or street address, home type, foundation, size and floor height, flood zone, whether you have an elevation certificate or an NFIP policy, damage status, how the job will be paid for, utilities that will move, when you want to start, access for equipment, your name, phone number, email and any notes. Only a few answers are required, and "not sure" is accepted.
Where it goes
The form is sent through FormSubmit (formsubmit.co), a form-delivery service that passes it to our email inbox. FormSubmit handles the submission on our behalf and has its own privacy policy. We read your request and pass it to independent contractors who work in your parish and do the kind of job you picked, so they can contact you and quote.
What contractors do with it
A contractor that receives your details is a separate business. It uses them to reach you and quote the job, and handles them under its own practices. If you'd rather a contractor stop contacting you, tell that contractor.
What is recorded automatically
When you load the site, your browser keeps the first page you landed on and the page you came from in session storage until you close the tab. If you submit the form, those two items are sent with it, along with the page you submitted from, so we know which page the request came from. They are not cookies and are not used to follow you around other sites.
Cookies and analytics
This site uses Google Analytics 4 to count visits: which pages are viewed, how visitors arrived, approximate location (city level) and device type. Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser for this. It does not receive the answers you type into the quote form. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or use Google's opt-out add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout; the site works without them.
Other services your browser talks to
The typeface (Archivo) loads from Google Fonts, so Google sees your IP address when a page loads. The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages, which sees standard connection details such as your IP address when you visit. We don't control either service's logs.
WhatsApp and email
If you choose to message us on WhatsApp, your message goes through WhatsApp under WhatsApp's own terms and privacy policy, and we get your phone number and what you write. If you email us, we get your address and what you write. We treat both like a form request and may pass them to contractors in the same way.
Deleting or correcting your request
Use the email button below, say what you want removed or fixed, and mention the name and town on your request. We'll delete or correct what we hold. We can't delete what a contractor already received, so ask them directly.
Changes
If this page changes in a way that matters, the date at the top changes with it. Questions about how a quote request works are answered on how it works; the rules for using the site are in the terms.
